OUR TEAM
Bowick Electric currently employs six master electricians, one journeyman electrician, and two apprentices.
Our employees are fully dedicated and bring a huge degree of integrity to every job they work on. We are lucky to have them.

'Magic Mike' started Bowick Electric over 20 years ago. He is an avid telemark skier, sailor, mountain biker and hiker. His knowledge, patience, humble demeanour and ability to multi task are his best skills. He does his best to keep the jobs going, the guy/gals employed and the bills paid. His favourite part of the job is meeting customers. He feels his most important duty is signing pay checks. He often says "True greatness is achieved by surrounding yourself with great people.”

An invaluable part of our team, Richard is now a partner in Bowick Electric, joining Mike & Erica. Thrilled to have locked him in for life:), we couldn't think of a more personable, hardworking and skilled partner. Richard is a competent, and confident electrician, and his dry wit keeps us all sharp. An enthusiastic snowboarder, mountain biker and hiker, he brings the same passion to his job. Richard lives in Nelson with his wife Kara and their son Silas.

Always friendly, conscientious and calm, Rene has never missed a beat. He has been our most loyal and longest standing employee and the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Family man, musician, and extraordinary skier who has perfected the difficult art of a 360 on telemark skis. Very skilled, easy to smile and quick to laugh, every company should have a 'Bill.' Bill lives in Nelson, with his wife Anna, and children Rosie and Oli.

Full of humour and depth of character, Graham is Bowick Electric's Gen X ambassador of stoke. He's forgotten more cool sayings than the rest of us will ever know. After years of guiding for Baldface Lodge, he's now full time with us. Never frazzled, always cool and collected, Graham brings a sense of calm to every job site he's on. Pele, aka 'Roadrunner,' on the verge of a career as an extreme snowboarder, but lucky for us, pivoted and now brings all this amazing energy and enthusiasm to his job. Pele lives in the Slocan Valley with his partner Chanelle and his two young sons, Louie and Francis.

A former Baldface lifer, Mike now has a foot in both camps. Cat driver in the winter who honours us with his presence when the snow is gone, he's quiet, dependable, and hardworking. Mike lives in Nelson with his wife Danielle.

The 'Kootenay Kid,' Taylor is a biker, skier, musician and electrician. He is an eager and confident journeyman. He lives in Nelson with his partner Brooklyn.

The 'new kid' to the Bowick Electric team, Saxon brings enthusiasm, hard work and passion to everything he does. An avid skier, fly fisherman and outdoor enthusiast, Saxon works as a Flyfishing Guide in the Kootenays and in Patagonia, Chile. When he is not guiding, you can find him working with the team.

Last but not least, the "President' and partner in Bowick Electric helps out in the daily runnings of the business but mostly enforces the '20cm rule.' Erica is a skier, hiker, and sailor, who prefers to be outside if not working at her other job as an artist and owner of The Narrows - an Artist Residency centre.
“Great attention to customer service and 100% reliable. My top choice for minor repairs to major installations."
